REVIVAL

I also recommend podcasts from The School of Circuit Riders.

This is a little description of what the School of Circuit Riders is about:
Their message: The kingdom of God has come, repent, be baptized and follow Jesus. Their payment: A mere 60 dollars a year if anything at all. The cost: Their very lives. 50% died before reaching 33 years old. Their reward: Nothing in terms of societal success and yet everything in terms of the glory of God! These leaders lived for a cause greater than themselves. They were dangerous to the enemy, and powerful in the hand of the Almighty God!
The Circuit riders of old were forerunners in their day. The same call is going out again, God is raising up their example for today’s forerunner generation! The mode and methods have changed, but the mandate, message and cost of the Circuit Rider remain the same. The nations are crying out in darkness. Who will go and gather the lost all over the Earth? Who will go and awaken the Church to the joy of living fully alive in Jesus?
A generation is responding like perhaps never before in history. Confident in who Christ has called them to be and what He has given them, they go forth proclaiming freedom to the captives. Knowing the living God through deep friendship and trust in His Word, they gladly lay down their lives. There is immense hope for the hardest and the darkest, as this generation rises to its feet and lays hold of its destiny!

The purpose of the School of Circuit Riders is cultivating leaders who have the courage, dedication and initiative to awaken their generation to the freedom and power of the Gospel.
Our aim is to see leaders who will Save, Revive, and Multiply!
Save: by bringing the lost into salvation.
Revive: by igniting Christians.
Multiply: by carrying out the dream of God to go into all the world, preach His gospel and make disciples.

"Blessed are you when people insult you, and persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. REJOICE and be GLAD, for great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." -Matthew 5:11
Here are a few snapshots of what I have been up to lately...............

The Flags. Each flag means that country is represented on campus. Over 40 nations! I love the diversity and creativity of Abba.

Some of the students helped paint for Candy Land! Candy Land is an free event with games, food, and fun. The purpose of Candy Land is to present a safe place for parents to take their children on Halloween. Candy Land was originated a few years ago by the pastor of Solid Rock, because he was in the hospital on halloween and while he was at the hospital, a child was brought in who was hit by a drunk driver. The event has grown dramatically. The first year a little over a hundred people came. Now over 8,000 parents and children come to Candy Land!

Pien & I at Candy Land. Pien is an amazing sister in Christ. God has blessed me with her in my small group and on my outreach team!

Boat Day with Lisa's family plus Gabby! Lisa's (in the middle) parents and brother came for Thanksgiving. One day, her dad rented a deep sea fishing boat. It was a joyful time!

Some of the dolphins we saw! We didn't catch anything, but we saw a giant jellyfish, a whale, shiny fish, part of a large squid, dolphins, a giant sea turtle, and a eagle ray!

Thanksgiving with some of my outreach team!

Another Thanksgiving picture with two of my lovely outreach team, Cole from Canada and Pien from Holland!

P.S. Yes, I am back in Hawaii...... The story is soon to come.

Freedom Calling

"What have I to lose, if all I have is You?
What i have to give, that wasn't given?
I know that You have set me free, and freedom's never free.
King of Glory, have Your way in me."

"Freedom Calling" by Jake Hamilton

The Reward

"The Reward" by Jonathan David Helser

"In a garden we fell, but in a garden he prayed,
'Not my will but yours be done'
My sins he became so I could be like him
To go beyond the veil and see his face

The cross has made a way so we can enter in
To go back to the garden once again
The cross has made a way, forever I will say
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain

Worthy, worthy
Worthy is Lamb that was slain
To receive the reward of his suffering
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain

Receive the reward, oh Lamb of God"

This song describes the season God has me in right now; learning grace. What His grace is in different circumstances in life. Whether that is repenting from false idols or making a mistake with outreach details, His grace covers over a multitude of sins. IT IS FINISHED. The veil was torn. We are no longer separated. Grace is a free gift from God. Freely he gave it all for us, So freely I will give back to Him.

I pray to live a life that Jesus says, "YES! IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH DYING ON THE CROSS!!!" Through my life, I pray he receives the reward of his suffering. HE IS WORTHY. I have nothing to offer, but Him. Those who want to find their life will lose it; those who lose their lives will find it. HE IS WORTHY. When I fully laid down my life to follow Jesus Christ, each day is greater and greater! Thank you, oh Lord, that your grace abounds in me.

P.S. I highly recommend purchasing Jonathan David Helser's albums. They are wonderful!
